Stanley Reid

Stanley Reid of Floral Park, New York, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 72. Born on May 15, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, Stanley was a devoted husband, loving son, brother, and uncle, and the go-to tech support for his whole family. Stanley enjoyed a beautiful 39-year marriage with his wife Patricia “Patt” Reid. They enjoyed going to concerts, traveling, and going for walks with their dogs. He was a dedicated worker and retired from the NYC Transit Authority after a long and successful career. In his spare time, Stanley enjoyed building computers, playing guitar, and spending time with his dogs, who he cherished with all of his heart. Stanley was always there to celebrate his family member’s successes and milestones. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Stanley is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Agnes Reid, his sister Joyce Reid, brother Thomas Reid, and wife Patricia Reid. He is survived by his loving siblings, sister and brother-in-law Florence and Walter Dagsland, brother Kenneth Reid, sister Elizabeth Kamouh, brother and sister-in-law Curtis and Patti Reid. He was a beloved uncle to his 10 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great great nephew. They will carry on his memory forever.
