Anthony Lange, 53, of Monroe County, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 14th, 2023.
Anthony was born October 13th, 1969, to Carol and Hans Lange in Astoria N.Y. After attending Edison High School, Anthony went onto a career in carpentry.
Anthony was a gifted carpenter, always delivering high quality work to his customers, many of whom became friends and repeat customers. Anthony was a jack of all trades and there was no job that he couldn’t do.
In 1997, Anthony became a father to his son Christopher. Anthony and Christopher lived and worked together in their beautiful home in Monroe NY.
Anthony had a passion for the outdoors. He loved boating, fishing, hiking, camping and above all serene settings. Anthony loved building things from scratch, he loved leaving lasting memories for people through his work.
Anthony touched the lives of all that knew him. If you met him once, you remembered him forever. He had a heart of gold and always saw the good in others. Anthony’s day was a success if he made others laugh. His smile was contagious, his humor was uplifting and his ability to bounce back from adversity was admirable.
Anthony was predeceased by his Grandfather Charles Chase, who he roomed with for years and who he truly admired. He is survived by his loving mother Carol and father Hans, his sisters, Mary and Christine, brother Hans as well as his son Christopher.
A celebration of life will be held at Daltons Funeral Home located at 29 Atlantic Ave, Floral Park, NY 11001 on Monday May 22nd between 4 and 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Heart Association.
