Barbara Jane Hanley

Barbara Jane Hanley was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents Jane and Raymond Hally, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2021. Barbara is survived by her husband William Hanley and her two daughters, Jenna (husband Steve Adinolfi) and Meighan (husband Mark Weir). She had 3 wonderful granddaughters whom she adored; Hally, Quinn, and Adaleigh. She had many beloved nieces and nephews who were always welcome at her home. Barbara loved to be outdoors and tend to her garden at her house in Bellerose, NY where she lived with her family for 43 years. She was blessed enough to be surrounded throughout her life by family and friends who were always welcome to sit in the screen room and share a laugh and a good story. She worked tirelessly throughout her life as a clerical worker in an office, a stay at home mom, and then gave of herself tirelessly as a New York City Department of Education school aide. She is remembered by countless children and families for her kindness and patience throughout her time at P.S.186. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Gregory the Great Catholic Academy.
