Burl W Mansberger

Burl William Mansberger of Jericho, New York passed away at age 101 on June 5, 2021.  Reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Marion.  Proud father of the late William, the late James (Carolyn), John (Katie), Anne Bachteler (Larry), Robert and 9 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren.  Decorated WWII veteran with 3 Purple Stars.  He served as Sargent with the US Army 2nd Battalion Company B 80th Division; Patton’s Army, Battle of the Bulge.

At 62 after retirement, he won the NYS Championship in Pistol and Standard Pistol; Master shooter.

Member of the Masonic Lodge.

Burl believed in giving back.  In lieu of flowers our family asks for a donation to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in his name.
