Donald Desmond

Donald Desmond, 53, of Easton Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 as a result of a multiple vehicle accident in New Jersey.  He was born on December 8, 1964 in Long Island, New York to Charles and Anna Marie Desmond, who both preceded him in death.   Donald was a graduate of Floral Park Memorial High School and attended Stony Brook University.  He married his wife Paula Brady Desmond of Salisbury NC on December 3, 2000.  Donald worked in the IT Department for JPMorgan Chase for the last 19 years. 

Donald loved watching thoroughbred horse racing, playing fantasy baseball and fantasy football with his brothers and nephews, and was an avid fan of the New York Mets.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by four brothers, Paul Desmond and wife Margaret of Floral Park NY, Peter Desmond and wife Martha of Poestenkill NY, Jerry Desmond and wife Linda of Locust Valley NY, Chuck Desmond and wife Lisa of Melville NY; a sister, Diane Rosenfeld and husband Dennis of East Meadow NY; and many special nieces and nephews.

Visitation services were held at Dalton Funeral Home in Floral Park, New York on Monday, July 23, 2018 and at Powles Staton Funeral Home in Rockwell, NC on Thursday, July 26, 2018 followed by a graveside service and burial at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell, NC.
