George John Bopp

George J. Bopp of St. Petersburg, Florida (formerly of Wantagh, NY), passed away peacefully on October 14, 2018 at the age of 97.

George was born in Brooklyn, NY to Sadie and George Bopp on September 19, 1921. He married Marion DiFeo on June 10, 1944 at Fourteen Holy Martyrs in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

George was predeceased by his son, George and by his brother, Wilbur.

He is survived by Marion, his beloved wife of 74 years. He was the loving father of the late George (Sandy), Barbara Ann (Jeff), Charles (Kathy), Anthony, Keith (Linda), and Debbie (Jack). He was the cherished grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 12.

He will be missed and remembered fondly by all.
