Harold Norbert Rice (Opa) of Floral Park, New York passed away at home on October 5, 2021 at 91 years of age. Devoted husband of the late Frances Caroline, loving father of Margaret (Peter), Harold (Tara), Eric, Frederik, and Karen (Michael). Cherished grandfather of Eric, Laura, and Peter Healy, Emilie and Genevieve Milano, and Daniel Rice. Loving brother to the late Norma and Ruth. A United States Navy veteran, a Local One Stagehand for 67 years, and a devoted Knight of Columbus can be called upon at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral home in Floral Park on Wednesday October 6, 2021 during 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Hedwig’s Church in Floral Park at 10AM Thursday October 7th. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name.
