Irene Gibbons

Irene Gibbons  ( nee:  Hoffmann) passed away
on February 22, 2023 at the age of 93. She joins
her beloved husband, Francis and her parents, Katherine and Theodore Hoffmann who predeceased her.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Gibbons Moran and Sharon Gibbons, grandchildren, Jacquilyn Rizzo and Jeremy Moran,
and her great-grandchildren, Xavier Rizzo, Vincent Rizzo, Alayna Moran and Liam Moran.
Irene loved gardening, crafts, word puzzles, and reading. and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans auxiliary and the IBEW Local 25 retirees and spouses group. She also
loved dogs and owned many throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Shore Animal Hospital or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital are requested.
