It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Lynne S. McElroy (nee Stoddard) announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the age of 90.
Lynne was born May 14,1932 in Highland Falls, New York to her parents Herbert and Louise Stoddard. She spent her childhood in Monroe, New York. She attended Mary Washington University, Virginia. Married the love of her life, George, and they both raised a family in Levittown since 1953. They are now eternally together proudly watching over their large family.
Lynne is survived by her five children; James (Sharon), Nancy (Jim), Susan (Anthony), Thomas (Kirsten), Richard (Margaret); thirteen grandchildren Melissa, James, Brian (deceased), Sarah, Timothy, Nicole, Mark, Michael, Ryan, Carolynn, Meaghan, Kathleen, Kelley; nine great-grandchildren Jacob, Ashley, Elizabeth, Kaley, Emily, Hannah, Emilia, Sean, Charlotte. Lynne is also survived by her sister, Polly and brother, Ralph. As the matriarch of the family Lynne was affectionally known by many names: mom, mother, ma, grandma, granny, grams, g-ma, g, and "muzz."

Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the Dalton Funeral Home, Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, New York. Religious Service Thursday 10:00 Am. Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park.
