Margaret Jacopelli

Margaret Jacopelli, née Esposito was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on March 29, 1926 to Anthony and Mary Esposito née Rebecca.  She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Dominic Jacopelli on April 18, 1948. She attended Most Holy Trinity Elementary School and Girls’ High School in Brooklyn, New York. 

She worked for the Great Neck School System. She loved to gamble and playing the numbers was one of her favorite activities as well an occasional visit to the casino.  Margaret’s great sense of humor and “classic phrases” brought smiles to all! 

Margaret departed this life on May 13, 2020.  Loving mother to Linda Richardson, née Jacopelli and Donna Rom, née Jacopelli and Edward T. Richardson, Son-In-Law, and John P. Rom, Son-in-Law.  She was a cherished grandmother to Damian John Richardson, Jaclyn Anne Globus, née Richardson, and Cory Michael Globus, Grand Son-In-Law, and Mary Rose Rom, as well as being an exceptional Great Grandmother to Edison James Globus. 

Dearest older sister to four siblings, Michael Esposito, Johanna, his wife, the late Vita Igneri, Rocco, her husband, and Pauline Guzzardo, Jimmy, her husband, she was Sister-in-Law to Leo Jacopelli, Mary, his wife, and the late Florence Santeramo, and  Anthony, her husband.

Margaret leaves cherished memories to a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
