Marion Bopp

"Marion Bopp of St. Petersburg, Florida (formerly of Wantagh, NY) passed away peacefully on October 1, 2019, just two weeks shy of her 95th birthday.

Marion was born in Brooklyn, NY to Anna (nee Sanacora) and John DiFeo on October 15, 1924. She had five loving and devoted sisters and one brother. Marion married George John Bopp on June 10, 1944 at Fourteen Holy Martyrs in Brooklyn, NY.

Marion was predeceased by her devoted husband of 74 years, George; son, George; and sisters Florence, Theresa, and Bernadette.

She is survived by her children Barbara Ann (Jeff), Charles (Kathy), Anthony, Keith (Linda), and Debbie (Jack); daughter-in-law, Sandy; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Genevieve, Joan, and Tony, and many nephews and nieces.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and cherished grandmother and great grandmother.  She will be missed by all."  

In lieu of Flowers family is requesting donations in her memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or Suncoast Hospice at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, Florida.
