Patrick Lee Osbern 1965 – 2023 West Babylon, NY Patrick Lee Osbern, 57, of West Babylon, NY passed away on March 9, 2023. Patrick was born on March 10, 1965, in Kansas City, KS, the youngest of eight children to Bill & Betty (Merica) Osbern. He graduated from Bishop Ward High School in 1983 in Kansas City, KS and worked in sales for many years. Patrick was always fun to be around and loved creating good times and memories with family and friends. He was a lover of animals, especially horses, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan. He also loved hunting, hiking and the great outdoors. Most of all, Patrick’s greatest love was for his children, Michaela and Cole. He treasured every moment spent with them. The things we will miss the most are his smile that would light up a room, his free spirit, and how much he loved his family. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Sheryl Ann Williams of Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his daughter, Michaela, his son, Cole, their mother, Laurie Plitt Osbern of East Meadow, NY; his siblings, Mike (Lida) Osbern, David Osbern, Mary (John) Cindrich, Geralyn (Don) Faulk, Shannon (Kevin) Reed and Bill (Kathleen) Osbern; 17 nieces and nephews and 31 great nieces and nephews; and Lisa DiRaimondo, his best friend who held a special place in his heart. A Celebration of Life will be held for Patrick on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Tomahawk Golf Course located at 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS 66217 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Casual attire.
