Paul S. Hartel of Stewart Manor, formerly of Floral Park. Paul left us on Friday, August 16 after a five year battle with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
Beloved and devoted husband to Kathryn for 41 years. Loving father to 2 sons, Christopher and Steven (Lori). He was the loving Pop-Pop to Cecelia Rose. Dearest brother to the late Irene, Kathy, Richard (Paula), William (Anne) and Nancy.
Paul worked for over 40 years at Petland Discounts. He was the fire chief in Stewart Manor for six years in the 1980’s.
Donations to the Parkinson’s Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association in his memory would be appreciated by the family.
