Robert F Palmer Jr

Robert F Palmer Jr. (Bob) passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 81. He joins his parents, Robert and Eleanor Palmer who predeceased him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia (née: Kussin); his children: Gregory and Diane (née: Biedermann), Philip and Janet (née: Gripka), Margaret and Thomas Clare, Paul and Michele (née: Murphy), Matthew and Cassandra (née: Thompson), and Brian and Rachel (née: Williams); and his grandchildren: Palmer, Andrew, Sean, Katie, Maraline, Sarah, Riley, Abby, Erin, Liam, Brendan and Paige.

Bob was born and raised in the Bronx. He graduated from IONA college with a B.A. and MBA. Bob served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Later, he had a long career in the newspaper industry; finishing his final 23 years with the New York Times. Bob was a devoted Catholic, avid NY Yankees fan, loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bob and his wife Claudia were long-time residents of Levittown, New York (53 years), where they made many friends and have cherished memories.
