Sean Thompson De Silva, 37, of New York, New York, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 27th, 2020.
Sean was born and raised in Queens, New York and later moved to the Upper West Side, where he lived for the past 13 years. He is survived by his daughters Alexandria Roberta Pandohie and Gabriella Abigail De Silva, and his son Adam Thompson De Silva, alongside his parents, Ulric Thompson and Roopdai De Silva, his younger sister Michelle Indi De Silva-Hernandez and his younger brother Scott Thompson De Silva.
Sean attended Hillcrest High School. He then studied Communications at Columbia-Greene Community College. He later trained to be an HVAC Technician at College of Technology (TCI).
Sean was a man of compassion, empathy and respect. His charismatic character and kind-heartedness ensured he made friends everywhere he went, always leaving imprints on those he came across. He is remembered for his ability to love unconditionally, his appreciation for music and poetry and his jokester personality.
His contagious laugh and experimentative cooking will be dearly missed. Sean never passed up the opportunity to have a great time and make lasting memories. We are honored to proudly live in his spirit and we pray that he endlessly lives in our hearts.
