Suzanne T Caridi

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Suzanne T. Caridi. Lovingly known as “Sue”, she passed away on May 27, 2023 in East Meadow, NY at the age of 72. Loving wife of Dominick Jr. Beloved mother of Lisa (William) and Dominick III (Christina). Adored grandmother of Nicholas, Matthew, Marcella, Jionni and Lorenzo.

Born on November 10, 1950 in Manhattan to Martha and Thomas Bailey, she was an only child. She had many aunts, uncles and cousins to make up for being an only child.

Sue married Dominick Jr. in 1974 and they moved to Woodside, New York the same year. She and Dominick created a wonderful life in Woodside  where they remained for 49 years.  They recently downsized and moved to East Meadow, New York. Sue was always the mom that always welcomed all of her children’s friends to come over and play.  Sue was a devout parishioner of St. Sebastian’s Church in Woodside and recently joined St. Raphael’s Parish in East Meadow.

Sue was the proudest grandmother and always looked forward to hearing about their activities, sporting events and seeing pictures of her grandchildren.

Her ability to see the best in everyone made her a dear friend of many. Sue’s family will celebrate her life Wednesday, May 31st, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, 2786 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY.  Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 1st, 10:45 a.m., St. Raphael R.C. Church, 600 Newbridge Road, East Meadow, NY. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY. Donations in Sue’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
