Abigail Theresa Montague

Abigail Theresa Montague (Plunkett), age 93, of Syosset, NY, passed away Wednesday evening, February 20, 2019, surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 6, 1925 in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen, the second daughter of the late Christopher J. and Margaret (Maloney) Plunkett.

Abby was preceded in death by her husband, Peter T. Montague, brother, Christopher and sister, Margaret Schupbach. She is survived by her sisters: Catherine Kuzma, Ella O'Hara and Nora Morales.  Her children: Abigail, Nadine Ochs (Peter), Victoria, Peter, Sean (Jean) and Anastasia McManus (Joseph) and grandchildren: Peter McManus, Anastasia McManus, Marc Ochs, Damian Ochs, Ian McManus, Jacqueline Montague, Peter Thomas Montague, Bryan Ochs, Abigail Montague, Daniel Ochs and Desiree McManus.

She also leaves behind a vast number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, friends and neighbors whom she loved and cared for deeply, and who she referred to as “mine”.
