Rose Valente

Rose Valente was born on November 9, 1933 in Queens, NY. She was the seventh of eleven children born to Angelo and Orsola Amato, and helped care for her brothers and sisters with whom she was close all her life. At 23, she married Vincenzo “Jimmy” Valente and lived in Cambria Heights and Floral Park.

Rose was a loving grandma to Christopher Valente, Laura and Daniel McCormick, Cynthia and Brian Glasser, Vincent Valente, Joseph Valente, Marc Valente, Stephanie Valente, Samantha Valente, Michelle and Andrew Flores, Tara Bereche, Rosina Valente, Matthew Bereche, and Julia Bereche. She was beloved great grandma (Gigi) to Cienna Rae Glasser and Daniel Matthew McCormick.

She survived by her sisters, Dolores Servider and Anna Amato, and many nieces and nephews.
Rose was a hardworking, caring, and faith-filled woman, and we will miss her.
